Aspects of Earthworm Research - Examples from 35 years of investigation
Dr Kevin Butt has been studying earthworms for over three decades, both in the UK and overseas. Kevin has continued the earthworm research of Charles Darwin into the burial of materials at Down House in Kent, investigated the impact of human activities of earthworms on the Isle of Rum and tracked the development of earthworm communities in translocated grassland.
Kevin was our guest speaker for the 2021 society AGM and delved into his experience as an earthworm ecologist and highlighted some of his fascinating discoveries. The talk was recorded and can be watched below (or directly on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/yfkjG8r40g0).
