Dig into the world of earthworms in London! 
Did you know there are 26 species of earthworms in Britain? Or that earthworms breathe through their skin? How about that they eat their own weight in food each day?
It's nearly BBC Springwatch Wild Day Out time! Come and join scientists from the Natural History Museum and local experts on a fantastic FREE day out for all the family and find out more amazing facts about these incredible creatures and other creepy crawlies! You'll be amazed at what you can find beneath your feet, in the trees, in the hedges, in the sky - all around!
Meet experts from the Earthworm Society of Britain (ESB) at the London Bioblitz on Saturday 5 June and ask all your burning earthworm questions! ESB event includes handling, identification and exploration of soil biodiversity and the very popular and fun worm charming competitions! Get your hands dirty and dig away, learning how to identify the different species.
Find us in the Grassland Safari area. First worm charming event takes place at midday!
